The WarmUp range is made by Joydivision in Germany and importations to Australia are only quite recent. This edible oil is a comparatively sticky one but still very pleasurable to use. It has a deliciously distinct caramel flavour. Not being huge caramel fans we were a bit reluctant to use an oil so sweet but in fact it has more of a toffee taste and so is not overly cloying after all. The only down side was it did not absorb so well as many other oils and a shower was required afterwards but as that led to more oil use it can not be too bad! Willie says the taste and unusual sensation balances out any tackiness.

The first drop from the bottle was reminiscent of an exotic red ruby. The application of this oil was just as exotic. Although it initially issues as a red lotion, as soon as it is blissfully soothed into the skin it becomes transparent so there is no worry of staining. The fresh cherry taste and scent were there but not overly obvious. Like most flavoured oils the skin seemed to want to just soak it in, leaving the faintest patina of syrup as a reminder of its pleasant application. What says wanton Willie?

After our extra positive response to the first ever edible massage oil we had tried, the sadly discontinued Hot Hooters Warming Booby Oil, we decided to revisit the yummy pina colada flavour but in a different brand, called Wet.

This body glide lubricant oil is more runny and slightly less tasty than the sublime Hot Hooters brand but still very pleasant in its own right. It certainly is not sickly sweet and is a subtle blend of the pineapple and coconut flavours. It is not overly tacky, soaking into the skin reasonably quickly. This clear lotion is not one of the warming oil varieties, but it is still definitely one that we shall use again! With Willie's approval, of course...

While checking out more in the luxurious Booty Parlor range we came across this sumptuously sensual flavoured skin honey massage oil at our usual online internet auction recently. This product comes in other varieties which I shall introduce later, but the first one we just had to try was Chocolate!

It was somewhat viscous coming out of the dainty bottle, but absorbed very swiftly and smoothly into the skin. You may not yet know that the more quickly a water based lubricant is absorbed, it generally means the lotion is of a higher quality, as the miniature oil molecules are so fine. This oil left our skin soft and faintly scented with very little sticky residue. Both the chocolate aroma and flavour were deliciously delicate, reminiscent of the high quality expensive chocolates compared to the usual supermarket cheaper varieties. This product has been featured in the June 2011 Australian Cleo magazine, and Willie can only concur with their positive write up.

Well, we have been busy enjoying our various massage lotions. However, I thought it would be nice to surprise hubby with a new treat. I had heard about the Kissaholic Plumping Lip Gloss range by Booty Parlor so ordered one from our local internet auction site so I could try it. This was a big thing for me as I do not usually wear much in the way of make up.

Therefore I selected Sigh, the softest colour, described as a nude mauve. Being so pale, the colour only just showed on my lips but it did have a soft shine accompanied by a refreshing minty feel and taste that hubby did not mind quality checking! It also had a slight tingle initially, apparently from the chili fruit and ginger root extracts used to increase lip volume. I did not end up with an Angelina Jolie pout but did notice that when enjoying a glass of wine later that although there had been a faint stickiness to the lip gloss, it was not transferred to my glass as expected. Not bad for a first try. It looks like Willie might have mistaken this zesty lip gloss for body paint, though!

Tranquility is also from the Wet Inttimo range of aromatherapy oils, being an alluring fusion of ginger and bergamot. and... What is bergamot?!

Apparently bergamot is a species of orange. We had no idea of this at the time, although we did find the citrus aroma quite bewitching. It was quite a coincidence that the last lotion we tried was also citrus scented, but we had been aware it was supposed to be at the time. The Inttimo orange scent was less obvious to any non bergamot knowledgeable people but comfortable in its familiarity. The ginger adds a hint of spice without overpowering the citrus. The natural oils were silky and soaked smoothly into the skin without any sticky residue, leaving my skin permeated with this delicate scent for some time after. Willie only allots scores in whole points as he does not want to lose ears or any other important appendages. Thus hubby's wavering between 4.7 or 4.9 had to be rounded down to err on the side of caution.

When I first saw a photograph of this luxurious Femme Fatale massage oil on the local internet auction site that I use, I thought the bottle was not full, but in fact there are two different oils in there! As the bottle is tilted they blend to provide a non sticky yet ultra smooth lotion that is very pleasurable indeed. The citrus aroma was very distinct. Although not a flavoured 'edible' oil as such, the taste was quite satisfactory, our only complaint being that the hole through which the oil emerges is quite small so it does not seem to issue fast enough. The elegant glass bottle does not allow for squeezing to force extra out either. Then again we did have ample to keep us happy at the time, so Willie, with hubby's feedback, has given it a reasonable rating.
